BUILDER SMS BUILDER Remote Entry Database (BRED) CoN Update 04.18.2024

Description:

Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) has provided guidance for the continued utilization of the BUILDER Remote Entry Database (BRED) application, (version 3.5.3).

Software assessed within the eMass Assess and Authorize process will replace the Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) program for approved software within Department of the Army enclaves as previously prescribed.

The BRED application (version 3.5.3) was included in the recent ATO assessment (completed 01 March 2022 and extended through 27 August 2024) as the conversion to the RMF 2.0 environment for continuous monitoring of the eMASS environment is completed.

The most recent software listing includes all software that was assessed within our environment during the most recent ATO assessment. This action only applies to the current version of BRED (version 3.5.3).
