Question:

Do I have to perform a roll-up after I import a BRED file?

Answer:

 If you need to use any functions that rely on condition indexes immediately (such as work generation), a roll-up for that site needs to be performed.  

Alternatively, if it is not important for the CI's to be calculated right after an import, a roll-up can be performed nightly. Therefore, the CI calculations will be there the next day.

Note:   Rolling-up a site can take some time and as the size of the site increases, so does the amount  of time it takes to complete a roll-up. Once a user starts a roll-up, their account will show the window where the site is being rolled up and they will not be able to navigate in BUILDER until the roll-up  process is complete.
